When I’m working on any new idea, routine, or presentation – it’s always too fat. Filled with unnecessary words and actions. Too much exposition and too much repetition. The only way to make any of it better is to edit.
Correct, cut, condense. Revise, rearrange, redact. I’m always willing and ready to edit - sometimes I’m successful; other times I fail. But I've never been disappointed by an intelligent edit. On second thought, forget all that. Just remember this quote from Robert Louis Stevenson… “There is but one art, to omit.”
