Good Ol’ Gil Pender

I love Woody Allen’s “Midnight In Paris”.
 
There are a lot of lessons to be learned in that film but today I’m thinking about this scene in particular. Excuse the Greek and Italian subtitles. Unless you’re Greek or Italian, in which case – you’re welcome.:

Golden Age Thinking is a legitimate problem. It’s seductive to believe that the world was better in the past.  I’m a sentimental guy, I understand those pitfalls better than anyone.
 
But I know I need to be honest with myself and admit the truth -
 
I like antibiotics.
